Neal Opposes Deal To End Government Shutdown

Several members of the Massachusetts House delegation are voicing discontent with last night's Senate deal to end the government shutdown.

The agreement does not guarantee an extension of Affordable Care Act tax credits which expire at the end of the year.

Springfield Congressman Richard Neal will not support the deal saying quote, "Republicans were never going to act on lowering health care costs."

He said when it comes to keeping health care affordable for millions, the "Republican record of failure is all they have to offer."
