An attorney for Karen Read has announced that she will be suing the State Police and numerous witnesses from her murder trials.
Read was acquitted of all charges related to the death of her Boston cop boyfriend John O'Keefe at trial in June, but is still being sued by the O'Keefe family for wrongful death.
Read rejects their claims and plans to sue State Police and multiple investigators, claiming negligent training and supervision led them to violate her civil rights.
She's also going to sue Canton Police for failing to secure the garage where Read says her vehicle was tampered with by investigators.
