DHS List Of Sanctuary Cities Taken Down Following Pushback From Sheriffs

A list of sanctuary cities released by the Trump Administration last week is being taken down.

According to Reuters, the list of about 600 cities and counties was removed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security on Sunday following push back from the National Sheriffs' Association.

The union said the allegation that the sheriffs of those jurisdictions were non-compliant with federal immigration enforcement violated core principles of trust, cooperation, and partnership.

The list included four cities and three counties in Western Massachusetts.
