Testimony continues today in the murder trial of Karen Read in Dedham.
State Police Sergeant Yuri Bukhenik was grilled by Read's defense attorney over multiple days about issues with the investigation into the death of Boston cop John O'Keefe.
Bukhenik also defended Michael Proctor, the former lead detective in the case fired for his unprofessional behavior during the investigation.
Read is being retried for second degree murder, accused of hitting O'Keefe with her SUV on purpose and leaving him to die.
Read claims she's being framed by corrupt cops.
