Islanders Snap Skid With Win Over Bruins

The Islanders snapped their four-game skid after topping the Bruins 2-1 at TD Garden.

Alexander Romanov put the Islanders on the board after opening the scoring with his fourth goal of the season.

Kyle Palmieri put the Isles up by two after scoring his 18th of the year.

Ilya Sorokin stopped 38 of the 39 shots he faced. New York now has 59 points at 26-25-and-7.

David Pastrnak scored the only goal of the game for the Bs to bring his season total to 31.

Jeremy Swayman turned away 18 of the 20 shots he saw.

Boston has 62 points at 27-25-and-8.
