The investigation continues into a deadly shooting in Springfield on Thursday.
Police said a man and woman were found with gunshot wounds in a home on Allen Park Road at around 3 a.m.
The woman was killed, while the man is expected to survive.
The victim has not been identified.
Springfield City Councilor Tim Allen, who represents Ward Seven where the murder happened says that the neighborhood does not have a problem with violence.
Police have made no arrests.
