Has Hasbro Decided Where Home Will Be?

Hasbro appears to be close to a decision on its new home.

The Pawtucket-based toy maker announced last fall that it was considering a move from Rhode Island.

City officials say a decision by Hasbro could be communicated to shareholders by the end of the week.

Boston is considered the likely home for the new headquarters, and Massachusetts officials have courted Hasbro.

Pawtucket hopes to keep Hasbro, while Rhode Island officials have also proposed a move to Providence.

Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks made no mention about the decision during a recent quarterly conference call with investors.

Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey has not suggested any decisions have been made yet by the company
