Guardians Beat Red Sox To Even Mid Week Series

The Guardians evened their series against the Red Sox at one apiece after earning a 5-2 victory at Progressive Field.

Tanner Bibee was credited with the win after allowing two runs, one of them earned, over five innings of work.

Emmanuel Clase secured his 20th save of the season after striking out two batters over a scoreless ninth inning.

Amed Rosario and Josh Naylor each recorded three hits with a run batted in.

Cleveland is now second in the AL Central at 28-and-33. Kutter Crawford was charged with the loss after allowing three runs, one of them earned, on five hits over three innings pitched.

Rafael Devers went two for four at the dish with an RBI. Boston is now last in the AL East at 31-and-31.
