Texas Sheriff Reccomends Charges In Migrant To Masschusetts Case

A criminal case has been filed over Florida Governor Ron DeSantis flying a group of illegal immigrants from Texas to Martha's Vineyard.

The Bexar County Sheriff's Office in San Antonio states that several counts of misdemeanor and felony unlawful restraint were filed.

The migrants claim they were persuaded to board the planes to the self-described "sanctuary state" of Massachusetts with offers of jobs, housing and education.

The unannounced flight to the Vineyard happened last September.
