The New England Patriots are playing the Baltimore Ravens in their home opener on Sunday.
Kickoff from Gillette Stadium is at 1 p.m.
Pats fans may notice the absence of the stadium's iconic lighthouse near the north end zone.
That was demolished earlier this year as part of a renovation project, and the team plans to replace the original lighthouse with a taller, more prominent version.
Also this weekend, now 40 year old Vince Wilfork will be inducted into the Patriot's Hall of Fame.
He has already received his red jacket and substantially slimmer then the 325 pounds he was at during her playing days.
He says retirement has made him stress free- and the fact that his kids need him is reason enough to slim down and be around them for as long as he can.
And, despite his slimmed down new look- he is not looking to make any comebacks.
